Our On-line Analyzers Provide Reliable Measurements in Difficult Process Applications

BROOKFIELD ENGINEERING – Viscosity analyzers

  1. On-line viscosity measurements enable you to control coating and verify process conditions continuously instead of waiting for lab results. The ability to measure from a very low viscosity up to millions in centipoise

CHEMTRAC SYSTEMS, INC. - Streaming Current and Particle detection

  1. Streaming Current Lab and On-Line monitors to reduce chemical costs, optimize clarification or filtration and automate coagulant control in your incoming water
  2. Particle Monitors can monitor particles down to a 1 micron range in real time to give you immediate response to process and water quality changes and prevent the loading of solids into downstream systems such as boiler feedwater, membranes and demineralizers
  3. Laser Particle Counter is designed to provide size and quantity information enabling you to optimize filter operations
  4. Coagulant Charge Analyzer helps operators determine the optimum coagulant dose faster and more accurately than jar tests (five minutes or less)
  5. On Line Charge Titrator measures three sampling points such as headbox, machine chest and tray water and quantifies the level of charge present in order to stabilize charge disturbance
  6. Free and Total Chlorine analyzers without the need to reagents
  7. TruTrac turbidimeter continuously monitors, records, and reports (integrated with SCADA) turbidity compliance data for municipal water filtration processes

DETECTOR ELECTRONICS CORP. – Infrared Hydrocarbon Gas analyzer

  1. HART programmable the PIRECL offers you the ability to measure Hydrocarbons in the 0-25,000 ppm range all the way up to 100% Lower Explosive Limit (LEL)

MISTRAS PHYSICAL ACOUSTICS CORP – Acoustical Emission

  1. Through acoustical emissions you can detect and provide a continuous measurement of a pipe thickness to detect a potential leak break before it happens
  2. Thickness detection is simple as using a dry coupled sensor and rolling it across the surface of the pipe
  3. Valve-Squeak designed for operation and maintenance personnel to perform frequent valve checks
  4. The pocket AE carries the detection further by also allowing storage of the data and transferring to windows for calculation of loss through a valve

RONAN ENGINEERING – Density and Suspended Solids

  1. Density measurements with the Radiation Low Level Gauge eliminates the normal safety concerns of a nuclear gauge because the source is so small, NRC says "no wipe test needed, no safety officer needed to move the gauge and a specific license is not needed"
  2. Easy installation -- simply clamp to a pipe

ROYCE TECHNOLOGIES DIV. OF SANITAIRE

  1. Dissolved Oxygen analyzers (on-line and portable) for waste treatment plant aeration basins; also PPB DO on boiler feedwater. The sensor is air-calibrated and self-cleaning to knock off the algae growth or whiskers in the aeration basin
  2. Total Suspended Solids both portable and on-line, calibrated to your lab samples. Instantaneous suspended solids takes the guess work out solid peaks timing, eliminating guesswork based on the once a day lab report
  3. Interface Level Analyzers for letting you know where your blanket is in the secondary clarifier or in a gravity thickener in the water plant
  4. pH for the waste treatment plant. I have never seen a reliable pH sensor in an aeration basin but this flat electrode with jet clean does not need to be cleaned for months
  5. Sludge Retention Time Control or Monitoring System---provides you with a balanced food to microorganism F/M plant eliminating things like foam and unsettled solids

S::CAN MEASURING SYSTENS

  1. S::CAN Measuring Systems LLC provides on line Spectrometry using the full UV visible spectrum (200-380 or 190-750nm) called the spectro::lyser.

  2. The product design allows the sensor to be used in waste water or water without any pumps or tubing and in dirty water the lens is kept clean by high pressure air.
  3. Because of the UV spectrum you can monitor a variety of parameters such as TSS, UV-254/SAC, Color, COD, COD dissolved, TOC and simulate BOD to name a few parameters for the waste water and drinking water.  The instrument is also being used for water security systems for event detection and distribution monitoring.
  4. The specto::lyser technology works well for dissolved O-Zone monitoring when the application becomes difficult due to material build up with the standard electro-chemical probes.
  5. S::CAN offers an ammonia monitor referred to as the ammo::lyser again with an air jet cleaning in waste water.  The ammo::lyser gives you accurate measurements from .1 to 100mg/L.
